I know it’s been a while since my last post. Truly, my break was unintentional but necessary as the last few months have been even more eventful than anticipated. In the last week of May, I managed to close on a house and get married. And then about two weeks after that, my husband embarked on an ocean race from Newport, Rhode Island, to Bermuda, where I met him for our mini-honeymoon. Oh, and then it was the Fourth of July. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday with your friends and family.
It’s been a busy few months around here at Merkle RMG as well. We’ve been promoting the first phase of Rapport services to our clients — solutions focused mostly on undeliverable mail and our ability to help organizations minimize mail that doesn’t reach its intended recipient and maximize the results of their fundraising campaigns.
And, we’ve been preparing to introduce the next phase of our Rapport services to the industry.
This next phase leverages our contact center capabilities with services focused on promoting and improving donor stewardship and engagement. No asks — just pure cultivation to help foster a positive giving experience. These calls have shown to significantly increase donor value over a six-month period. Pretty neat, right?
I am excited that we are rolling out these additional Rapport solutions. I don’t want to give too much away, but in the next few weeks you’ll start seeing us release information about these new services — through this blog, on our website, and of course, on social media. So, keep your eyes peeled.
I’ll be attending the Bridge Conference later this month in National Harbor, Maryland, and I am hoping to see many of you there. Please reach out if you’ll be attending. I’d love to connect!
Happy Summer!
Amy
