Columbia MD – December 1, 2020 — Merkle (www.merkleinc.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company, has appointed Kent Grove to President of Merkle Response Management Group (RMG). The best-in-class processing, data, and technology provider continues to elevate its leadership team, following the promotion of former President Bill Sayre to CEO in March.
Grove has been with Merkle RMG for 15 years, serving most recently in a business development capacity. Previously, he was vice president of client engagement for 12 years and played an integral part in establishing RMG’s customer service strategy. In addition to his sales and customer service experience, he brings a strong knowledge of process and is widely considered an expert in nonprofit donation processing. Prior to joining Merkle RMG, Grove worked in various management positions around the country for Hyatt Hotels.
“Kent has been a valuable member of the Merkle RMG team for 15 years. His broad knowledge of the business and our clients, and his outstanding leadership skills make him an excellent fit to lead the organization,” said Sayre. “2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, and Kent will undoubtedly have a positive impact on all facets of our business moving forward.”
As president of Merkle RMG, Grove is charged with enhancing the company’s already strong service offerings within the nonprofit sector. His immediate focus will be to navigate the business through the ever-changing dynamics of COVID-19 and then establish a three-year roadmap for growing the business’s service offering and strengthening client satisfaction.
“It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to lead an organization that I have been a part of for 15 years. Bill has established a solid foundation of both customer service and operational excellence for me to continue to enhance. I look forward to taking Merkle RMG to the next level and beyond,” said Grove.
