Merkle RMG Receives Top Tier Quality Management Certification for 11th Year

Merkle Response Management Group (www.merkleresponse.com), a subsidiary of Merkle, a leading customer relationship marketing firm and the nation’s largest privately-held agency, announced that it has successfully passed the annual surveillance audit under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standard for quality management and assurance.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard established the framework for an effective quality management system and is based on a number of universal principles including process documentation, quality measurement, continual internal audits, process improvement, and analysis. For Merkle RMG’s accreditation, the required standards encompass all key business processes including process monitoring to ensure conformance, detailed record keeping, and ongoing efforts to facilitate improvement of the quality management system.

Merkle RMG has been certified since 2002 and is the only remittance processor certified to ISO 9001:2008 in the United States. The annual surveillance audit will be in place until the annual re-certification audit is performed in August of 2014. An independent accreditation/certification body, Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc., reviewed Merkle RMG’s processes and granted certification for compliance with the strict ISO standards of quality management and assurance.
